The Inspiration for this piece came from the mesmerizing fog that filters through the seascape of Garapatta in Big Sur. The creation process was challenging and rewarding of thick over thin layesr of oil. Paint to bring out the texture and the movement of the scene. I hope “Shimmering Shores” transports you to this powerful and evocative landscape.
